Welcome to The Middle/Missing Class (take your pick) PAC. PAC does not stand for Political Action Committee or Public Affairs Committee, (at least not yet). Right now the PAC in TMC PAC is just the short version of PACK, like a Pack of wolves because we The Middle/Missing Class have been cornered by our government by the way it has become a loosely held subsidiary of Corporate America.

 

First, let me tell you a few things:

1.      We are not writers, we're just really pissed.

2.      If you believe you are better off now than you were 8 years ago

      You won't much care for this site.

3.  Religion belongs in your heart, home and your choice of church, not here.

4.  4 BILLION dollars a week can be better spent here, rebuilding the United   

     States not Iraq.

5.  Electing 1 person won't change a thing. We must continue to push for

     change, forever

6.  ALWAYS Feel free to send us comments and suggestions.

Those are the basics we start from; in addition we have some pretty strong feelings on healthcare, banking, and the way OUR GOVERNMENT ignores us, THE MIDDLE CLASS.

 

Be it big oil and the BILLIONS of dollars in tax breaks they get every year, the hedge fund managers that personally make millions of dollars a month investing other people's money and PAY NO INCOME TAX just capital gains tax.  Or the big media companies that have received unbelievable rule decisions from OUR Federal Communications Commission allowing democratically dangerous levels of  ownership of radio, TV, Cable and newspapers by fewer and fewer companies.

 

This site will, on a fairly regular basis post a "THROWN TO THE WOLVES"  article, rant or whatever you might want to call it. We do not claim to be a "journalists" but on occasion we do see something that really stuns us and we'll let you know about it. As a matter of fact, feel free to send in your own THROWN TO THE WOLVES post.

 

Some other things we'll be doing are as follows

This will be part of the site that issues "Governing Under The Influence" 

citations to elected officials that get more than 25% (0.25) of their campaign  

funds from one industry.

            Our Failing Media

               We feel that this issue is so important that it has to have a major role as this

               site develops. It is a big confusing issue that we will try to provide clarity

               on and explain the danger to our democracy.

            Healthcare not just Wealthcare

               Healthcare is one of the most important issues in America today. Costs

               associated with healthcare coverage is bankrupting people and businesses

               We feel single payer is the way to go because of the savings, universal coverage

               and the benefit to businesses ability to compete.

 

 

 

In addition we will probably be endorsing during general elections at the Federal, State and maybe local level.

 

If you are looking for a political party slant to this site we're betting it will most likely be a little left of center, for the simple fact that even as individuals fall further and further behind the answer from the right is to provide more and more corporate tax cuts not realizing that IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW LOW BUSINESS TAX RATES ARE, IF THE POPULATION AS A WHOLE CAN NOT AFFORD TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.  We have tried the Republican policy of "trickle down" for far to long, it is time we looked at the a policy of "trickle up".
